Z3400 Techni Shot Series
The Techni Shot Mono nozzles are
particularly suitable for demanding
processing applications in the field of
technical high performance polymers.
A perfect temperature profile is
achieved by the use of special heat
conducting elements in the head of the
nozzle, so that they are optimal suitable
for single shot applications without a
hot runner, but they are also suitable
for use in hot runner moulds.
The Techni Shot-series is perfectly
suitable for processing highly reinforced
flame and retardant technical polymers.

Features
- There is a choice of 5 nozzle sizes ranging from 25 mm to 60 mm nozzle head diameters and melt channel diameters from 4,5 to 13mm.
- The nozzles are available in lengths of 56 to 300 mm.
- All nozzles have a modular design, nozzle-tips, heaters and thermocouples can easily be replaced.
- High resistance against abrasive wear.

- High compressive strength, also at temperatures over 300°C.
Description of product range
From this large product range the
suitable size of nozzle can be selected
for nearly each specific application.
The large range of different tip-geometries
and materials allows ideal gate
appearance and heat conduction into
the
gating point combined with superior
resistance against abrasive wear.
The gate inserts Z 3307 and
Z 3308 guarantee simple installation
of the nozzles in the mould by eliminating
the need to machine high precise
fitting diameters into the mould or
cavity insert.
Especially when a small nozzle diameter
combined with big nozzle length is
required the accurately machines
inserts offer an advantage and save
machining time.
The hot runner nozzles Z 34203 , made from a special carbide alloy, guarantees high resistance against chemical wear and corrosion produced by degassing of flame retardant additives or chemically aggressive resins. In the case of Techni Shot nozzles Z 342011, Z 342012 ; Z 342031, Z 342032 torpedo tips are combined with screwed on gate bushings. Gating on distributors or directly on the article with ring marking is possible. Easy mounting, robustness, simple assembly and disassembly as well as adaptability to the article contour of the moulding are the advantages of this nozzle design.
